5 little monkeys jumping on the bed!

Well I suppose 3 little monkeys and 2 big monkeys jumping on the bed!
Yup I'm pregnant!
And we all are excited to meet the newest little addition.
Well most of us anyhow.
Tristan is more excited about all the vomiting.  Every time I run to the bathroom and kneel down, at that lovely porcelain bowl, he is in there like a dirty shirt.  Shouting excitedly and pointing.  The best part is when I'm finished he leans over the bowl and then pretends to hurl his dinner as well.  Apparently vomiting is fun!
Who knew?
Not I!
(Thankfully I am through the first trimester and things seem to be improving!)

Telling people you're pregnant for the 3rd time is also fun.  Most reactions are the same:  Oh congrats!  That's exciting.  You'll be busy. I bet Shayla is excited.

But every once in a while you get a real jem.  These, of course, are my favorite.
My Dad's reaction still makes me smile when I think about it.

The phone conversation went something like this:

Me: Well Dad, I'm pregnant again.

Dad: What the heck!  And then a really long pause.

Me: What the heck?  You had four!

Dad: Yeah... yeah I guess we did.  Short pause.  The more the merrier I suppose.

I guess the end of January was still too soon after the crazy... flu filled, 5 kids under 5, 13 people jammed into one small house for a week with most everyone vomiting... Christmas... to tell him that next time we would be bringing one more to the mad house!
And to think he recently just married off his last two children.  There is bound to be even more grand children in the not so distant future!

I wonder when they'll have had enough and tell us all it's time to get a hotel?!

Wow! Congratulations!!!
I'm so excited for your house of monkeys!! hehe ok, ok I already knew... but I'm just always very happy to be the first to post, especially on something as important as being pregnant. I'm glad you are still up for adventure this summer... Murtle Lake right?! :) Instead of peddling, we'll be paddling... we, just have to persuade some childless adults to come with us!
