Still waiting... Tristan and I did some more preserving and harvesting.
And Shayla and Clayton went fishing.
Shayla didn't catch any fish but had a great time.
Tristan had a great time too... that boy loves to play cook and play in the sink
so scrubbing cucumbers and washing jars was right up his alley!

Then we all spent the afternoon outside.
Shayla and Tristan have been playing so happily together for hours now.
Days like today make me think 4 kids will be a piece of cake!
And then I remember yesterday and cringe at the thought. ;)

What Mom!! You couldn't have had any DAYS!... Not with your four lovely, helpful, quiet children who always got along... ? I don't know what you would be referring to... Obviously not personal past experience! ;)

Nice work canning Kimberly... Get it all done before I get there, so I can just spend 4 days straight, rubbing your feet, shoulders, neck... Then the last five days changing diapers!! Cross my fingers :) can't wait to see you guys. Guess I Shayla wants to catch a fish again she'll have to come out to BC... again :)

Kimberly failed to mention that Shayla got to see a sturgeon, Walleye, Gold eye and a beaver. oh and she was on alert for rattlesnakes too. I guess she needs a better coach!
